Role Purpose:
The graphic designer will work closely with the marketing team to execute our brand look and feel across platforms. The designer is responsible for creating inspired concepts, designs and content in line with the brand guidelines; support departments with their creative needs, and liaise with partners on creative execution.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
·Design and produce material for Print, Electronic and digital, motion graphics, animations, branding and video from concept through to final proof.
·To initiate, plan and implement creative designs while ensuring a seamless offline and online experience across all owned assets.
·Oversee visual identity development for new brand assets and products, ensuring that they effectively and creatively promote Jambojet brand positioning.
·Ensure brand assets deliver unified messaging and consistent branding across all marketing and communication touch points.
·Liaise with marketing suppliers for best in class service and products delivered timely and in the defined quality.
·Manage the company’s video, image and creative library making sure the content is clearly labeled and well backed up.
·Create user education content including tutorial videos, documentation, and in-app signage
·Create storyboards that depict scripts and narratives as per business briefs.
·Publish cross-platform and platform-specific content on all of our social channels,
·Monitor, moderate and engage with our audience(s) and communities;
·Track and analyze social media posts; and develop and maintain consistent tone of voice.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Diploma in graphic design, visual communication, or related field with 3+ years of working experience working as a graphic designer in a busy company or advertising agency, Travel or hospitality industry experience a plus.
Proficiency using design & video software e.g. Adobe photo shop & Adobe illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver etc
Experience in planning and developing social media content for corporate brands
Experience managing social media assets in an advertising agency or busy organization
Strong photography and editing knowledge
Creative copywriting and editing knowledge
Possession of creative flair, originality and versatility
Strong ability to translate requirements into design
Ability to work on short notice and tight deadlines, with minimal supervision
Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at a time
