Consultancy Overview
Kuja is seeking a Go-To-Market and Growth Advisor able to understand our business requirements, technical products and platforms, and their value propositions. The consultant will be responsible for supporting the Kuja team in finalizing a business model, validating the product and market fit, and establishing a marketing plan that enables Kuja’s immediate and longer-term success. While this is a part-time consultancy, this person will be integrated onto the Kuja team and considered a vital part of its success. This consultancy is expected to provide 20 hours per week support over a 6-month period, to enable Kuja’s development.
Some of the responsibilities will include:

 Build on the Kuja team’s previous work, knowledge of our users and the aid/development market, and skills to finalize a go-to-market (GTM) and growth strategy for Kuja.
 Devise GTM process, plan timelines, scenarios, pricing and promotions, etc. to be implemented by the Kuja team.
 Develop multi-channel sales and marketing strategies that reflects the diversity of Kuja’s target market (especially geographic and income diversity).
 Create a risk assessment for new product lines or sales channels, develop relevant responding plans, and support Kuja in establishing mitigation measures.
 Provide the training and mentorship of the Kuja team members on market assessment, business planning, and growth strategies to enable their development.
 Develop a robust and long-term pipeline of business development opportunities to ensure the sustainability of Kuja profit and impact.
 Support the Kuja team in implementing creative product campaigns and promotions to drive revenue and membership.
 Build Kuja’s network within and outside of the aid and development sectors to diversify Kuja’s users and customer market as well as establish key strategic partnerships.

Required Skills:

 Have a strong understanding of the international aid, development, and philanthropy sectors.
 Experience within a tech or start-up company.
 A minimum of 10+ years experience in a related role and similar industry.
 Understand and embody Kuja’s values and mission, particularly while representing Kuja to external audiences.
 Skills in strategy planning, implementation planning, management of a team, and monetization of products.
 Expertise in both physical and digital marketing.
 Strong analytical skills.
 Creative problem solving and a results-driven mindset.
 Curious, flexible, and innovative.
 English fluency is required and other language skills are highly desired.
