Global Instruction Manager, Strategic Initiatives

You are an instruction and training expert. You enjoy building, sourcing, and supporting user-friendly products that develop instructors and their instructional practice. You are invigorated by the prospect of using technology to support learning, instructor quality, and scale. You are a creative, big picture thinker who is able to carry out the steps needed to bring an idea to life. You have worked internationally and know how to build trusting relationships across diverse teams, geographies and people.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

2-3 years experience with instructor training and professional development, with an emphasis on adult learning.
1- 2 years of experience leading complex projects or working in a product-building environment.
Preferred experience with direct instruction and/or facilitation, especially working with young adults.
Preferred experience working with global stakeholders with diverse needs, preferably for at least 6 months.
Preferred experience with Learning Management System (LMS) or online learning, such as the creation of online courses, videos, or other microlearning supports.
Capability building mindset, with direct experience supporting individuals and teams to adopt global best practices related to instruction, while customising as needed to reflect different country contexts.
Success in building trusting, collaborative relationships within and across teams and geographies.
A self-starter who can thrive in a remote work environment.
Entrepreneurial, creative, proactive mindset required for start-up culture that demands taking ownership of targets and seeking opportunities for improvement / growth.
Fluency in additional languages beyond English is preferred.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Instructional Products for Generation Programs (40%)

Design innovative products, tools and/or resources to support instructor professional development for new and existing programs in collaboration with multiple teams (eg: Product team and the Online team)
Lead the configuration, testing, roll out, and validation of designed products, tools and/or resources across new and existing programs
Design and facilitate trainings for country and global teams to ensure adoption of our product, tools and/or resources
Solicit and incorporate data and context driven feedback from various stakeholders to continuously improve products, tools and/or resources
