Financial Controller

Key player in the annual budget process and mid-term planning. Work with country management to produce detailed budgets. review, consolidate and report into Group systems.
Involved in the production of Monthly Rolling Forecast for the legal entity and branch and reporting these in the group reporting system.
Prepare investment applications for investment projects (CAPEX) for the legal entity and branch. In charge of financial reporting functions for the legal entity and Branch by ensuring smooth month end procedures and upload of information to the common reporting group systems.
Responsible for maintaining allocation keys in SAP and reporting of key statistical figures into group systems for the legal entity and branch. Involved in reporting and analytics (MSO) including creating of periodic reports, root cause analysis, profitability of the legal entity and branch.
Check completeness of Master Data as maintained in MDM and SAP by ensuring minimum required information is available as per the group SOPs.
Involved in global finance projects as key contact person for the legal entity and branch. Periodical review of Credit Management policy and ensuring the CLA process is in line with group SOPs.
Drive implementation of process improvements and procedure documentation within the finance department by gathering internal and external data to determine key business drivers and key measures of success. Ensures all local financial SOPs are documented in line with existing group SOPs and ensures compliance to the SOPs.
Involved in statutory, internal and external audits, identify corrective actions, prepare action plans and report on progress until closure of audit findings. Ensure timely and due fulfillment of all tax obligations and mitigation of tax risks for the legal entity and branch.
Assessment of financial risks and business development activities of the legal entity and Branch Plays a critical role in ICS process by ensuring documentation self- assessment and reporting of internal controls is done in the ICS platform as per group requirements and procedure.
Local contact for Global Spend Management and Global Real Estate Management matters. Any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time

Qualifications, Skills/Abilities:

Degree in Finance/Accounting
Post graduate degree advantageous CPAK/ACCA
Deep knowledge of financial planning and business management Risk Management
Financial Controlling Commercial Reporting
5years experience in a senior finance role
Good communication and collaboration skills
Customer orientation Attention to detail
Sound Analytical skills and strategic thinking Ability to drive and deliver results
Proficient in MS Office applications
Performance Indicators: Timely and quality Finance reports.
Sound Financial compliance and governance. Results against Set Targets Tax/statutory compliance
