Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the executive team to contribute to company strategy formulation and decision-making.
Lead and manage the Kenya finance team, overseeing financial analysis, payroll, journal entries, procurement, billings, accounts payable, and maintenance of finance systems.
Manage all cash management functions for Kenya operations, including direct debit collection processes.
Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and other financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls, reconciliations, and substantiation processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
Implement and maintain disciplined cost control measures across operations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, licensing requirements, and corporate governance standards. Manage outsourced company secretarial functions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
CPA (K) qualification and ACCA Finalist status preferred.
Proven ability to work independently, innovate, and collaborate effectively.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle complex, rapidly changing information.
Analytical thinker with the capability to make well-informed decisions quickly.
Ideally 10 years work experience.
