We are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis. This role focuses on food production, inventory management, and operational efficiency, ensuring financial health and sustainability. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior leadership, providing strategic insights to drive business performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L reports.
Conduct variance analysis, identify financial trends, and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Deliver clear, data-driven financial insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Monitor monthly financial performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
Provide accurate financial forecasts, adjusting plans to optimize financial outcomes.
Cost Control & Profitability
Oversee COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) across food, beverage, and production operations.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and customer experience.
Develop pricing models to optimize profit margins and ensure long-term sustainability.
Inventory Management & Control
Monitor and manage the financial aspects of inventory, including stock levels, turnover, and valuation.
Work with procurement and operations to ensure accurate tracking and minimize waste.
Implement strategies to optimize cash flow through better inventory management.
Financial Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
Oversee tax filings, audits, and financial documentation to maintain full compliance.
Prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operations, procurement, culinary, and marketing teams to align financial and business strategies.
Provide financial analysis to support product launches, menu pricing, and operational decisions.
Partner with leadership to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts or junior accountants.
Promote financial literacy and continuous improvement within the team.
Support team members in their professional growth and career advancement.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
Experience: 3-5 years in finance, with at least 2 years in the Food & Beverage industry or a similar operational environment.
Skills:
Strong understanding of food & beverage financials, inventory management, and cost control.
Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear, actionable way
