As we continue to grow and innovate, we’re seeking a Finance Manager to join our mission-driven team. This role is crucial in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring our sustainable growth in a dynamic startup environment.
Optimizing working capital management, ensuring our cash flow can support our growth
Lead negotiations with suppliers, partners, and financial institutions to secure favorable terms
Implement rigorous cost control measures across all departments without compromising quality
Develop and execute strategies for margin management, balancing profitability with our mission
Oversee inventory control processes, optimizing stock levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
Conduct thorough financial analysis to drive data-informed decision making across the organization
Develop and maintain financial models that can adapt quickly to our changing business needs
Implement and refine financial systems, automations and processes suitable for a high-growth environment
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (tax, admin) while maintaining the agility needed in a startup
Profile
We’re seeking a professional who combines financial acumen with a passion for positive change. The ideal candidate will have:
A strong background in finance with a CPA
5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment – experience with end-to-end running of all key finance processes
Exceptional analytical skills combined with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
The ability to balance accuracy with pragmatism, making sound decisions with limited information
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in resource-constrained situations
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
A proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to bring up the good, the bad and the ugly – a “say what you mean and mean what you say” mentality
Experience with financial software (Microsoft Dynamics) and a knack for leveraging technology to increase efficiency
A genuine interest in sustainability and social impact
