Finance Manager

About the Role
As our Finance Lead, you will look after the company’s financial health and operations. You will advise line managers about the financial implications of business decisions as well as inform and influence decisions. 
Your duties include but are not limited to: preparing reports, budgets, commentaries, and financial statements. undertaking financial administration and internal audits. Preparing financial reports from multiple data points would be a very critical part of this role. It is important you have experience in creating reports and insights. Added duties and responsibilities will include;

Maintain the accounting reporting process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of ledgers and all supporting documentation and compliance with internal and legal finance regulations.
Prepare internal financial and management reports and insights 
Ensure the implementation of internal controls, finance policies, systems and procedures conform to the minimum and mandatory financial standards
Being a Critical point of contact with our customers; building a relationship that helps with efficient and timely collection of Accounts Receivables.
Maintain and manage healthy cash flows efficiency checks and improving on our Days payable outstanding (DPO) and our Accounts receivable turnover ratios
Work closely with CEO in preparation of the business plan and operational budgets; 
Develop and maintain effective office routines such as payroll, leave and time off, utility management such as the internet, power, etc, staff lunch etc
Responsible for scale procurement of services from reputable vendors ensuring compliance, value and quality.
Managing the finance and administration executive.
Ensure adherence with local statutory financial compliance requirements, including vendor tax withholdings, tax filings, etc.

 
 
Desired Qualifications

​​BS/BA /BCom in a Business  or related discipline 
Minimum 5 years Experience in Accounts and Finance; preference in Management Accounting; in a Service-based environment would be ideal
Experience in the human use of accounting systems QuickBooks/Xero/SAP or related
Experience working in the technology or financial services is desirable
Experience in preparing reports and insights form multiple data sources
Proficiency level in Spreadsheets tools like analysis, reports and pivot tables

Work Environment

General office environment
Work involves extended periods of computer use.
Monday to Friday workweek.
8 am to 5 pm working hours.
