The Finance Coordinator will play a critical role in overseeing the financial planning, analysis, and management of projects within the energy integration domain. This role ensures sound financial practices are integrated into project execution, enabling the successful delivery of renewable energy solutions.

As a pivotal member of the team, you will support the implementation of financial strategies, manage risks, and foster innovation to drive the successful execution of energy integration projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
Develop and manage project-specific financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate project feasibility, profitability, and risk, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support project planning and decision-making.
Financial Reporting
Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including cost analysis and progress updates on strategic initiatives and organizational goals as required, for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure accurate and timely review and reporting of financial performance against project budgets and milestones also including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain transparency with management, clients, and regulatory bodies through comprehensive financial reporting.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards that affect reporting requirements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain internal reporting tools to track departmental and organizational financial performance.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to create and maintain accurate project budgets, align financial goals with project objectives.
Monitor and update financial forecasts to align with project timelines, market conditions and strategic initiatives.
Oversee the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
Cash Flow Management
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the timely disbursement of funds to safeguard the company’s financial stability and liquidity.
Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize working capital.
Internal Controls & Compliance
Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Strategic Financial Initiatives
Collaborate with the CFO to develop financial strategies that support the company’s long-term strategic goals. This includes providing financial modeling and analysis for proposed projects, participating in strategic meetings, and offering insights that drive business decisions to increase profitability and efficiency.
Evaluate and recommend financial strategies to enhance profitability and achieve business objectives.
Lead and participate in financial projects, capital investments, and cost saving initiatives.
Risk Management
Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks associated with project execution and company operations, developing strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
Implement risk management policies and procedures to protect the company’s financial interests.
Tax Planning & Management
Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
Develop tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position and minimize liabilities.
Financial Systems & Processes
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software to streamline project accounting and reporting.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems.
Continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Team Leadership, Learning & Development
Develop, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within your team.
Organize training sessions, workshops, and seminars to keep the team updated with industry trends and to sharpen their skills.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
Discuss training needs and career development plans with your team and work with the HR team to develop targeted training solutions.
Ensure effective communication within the team and resolve any conflicts that may arise promptly.
