Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the DG’s and DDG’s Front office to identify documents that need to be scanned and archived electronically
Carefully look through documents and shred the outdated ones
Develop an effective storage and filing system for hard copies as will be determined
Act as the focal point for RDGE electronic archiving.
Organize books, magazines and any other print material in an orderly manner for easy identification in the library
Organize the RDGE archiving room in a neat and orderly manner
Provide excellent customer service by assisting library visitors.
Coordinate and monitor all tasks related to the delivery of incoming books from HQ and ensuring proper arrangement.
Undertake other ad hoc activities that may be assigned from time to time.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of a first degree in Arts, Business Administration, International Relations, Development Studies or any related field.
Computer Literacy
At least 18 months experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English and proven ability to organize effectively and efficiently
Ability to work independently and with limited guidance

Terms of Engagement

The successful candidate will be working full-time from the Bank’s offices on short term contracts usually for an initial period of 3 months. The contract may be renewed based on satisfactory performance, continued need for the role and/or budget availability.
