Field Service Engineer

Your role

To provide technical service and support to our customers, through regular on-site visits, providing repairs and tool calibrations. Working as part of the Atlas Copco Service team, to continuously improve our customer satisfaction.
To provide repairs and field service support on Industrial Power Tooling including Electronic, Pneumatic handheld and fixtured tools.
To provide the customer with technical support during breakdowns, over the phone and when required on site.
To conduct regular customer visits providing technical support, assistance and guidance as and when required.
To maintain records of all activities.
To carry out calibrations and preventative maintenance tasks on a scheduled and planned basis, according to laboratory and ISO procedures.
To plan, manage and carry out the installation of our equipment at the customers premises.
To ensure all repair and calibration workshop documentation is completed correctly and up to date.
To provide written reports on repairs and incidents as requested by management or the customer.
To provide advice and feedback to the customer on the use of their equipment.
To work as part of a team with our sales representatives and the customer to help address any support and technical issues.

To succeed, you will need

Engineering Diploma/Degree or Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to take ownership and provide value added solutions to our customers.
Motivated, self-starter, and organized.
Flexibility in being able to respond to the customers’ demands – this will involve early starts and late finishes, as well as occasionally attending plant outside normal hours, in an emergency response capacity.
Clean driving license.Strong customer service skills.
High degree of reliability.
Team player.
Resilient and goal oriented.
