Job Description
The purpose of the role is to develop business, using all of the tools available to you, from existing and new customers in order to reach and exceed predefined targets set by Management.
Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Work closely between existing clients and Product to ensure their current support is maintained.
Identify new opportunities within these clients and with Product support secure new business.
Identify new target accounts as agreed by internal stakeholders and develop relationship and business
Meet and exceed targets as predefined by internal stakeholder
Contribute to Kuehne + Nagel Kenya achieving annual Budget
Provide continuous feedback on market rates & conditions and keeping internal stakeholders up to date.
Maintain Corelog inputs for all client activities and opportunities
Conduct sales projects as required by Sales and Sea, Overland & Air Freight Management
Ensure that all Products are known to the customers including air, sea, contract logistics, road transport
To work closely with Airfreight sales executive in ensuring that the opportunities obtained during sales calls are utilized properly.
Exhibit, demonstrate and champion the KN Behaviours.
To be on the forefront in selling and promoting KN business systems and solutions like KN Login, KN FreightNet among others.

Your Skills And Experience
Bachelors Degree in a related field
Local Market Experience in Sea Freight & Airfreight, Sea Operational experience FCL/LCL
Proven Sales experience in Kenya
General Knowledge of all KN Products
Solid PC Background
Sales Automation Skills
Able to Work in Team Environment
Solid Ocean Operational Knowledge
Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Strong Customer Focus
Presentation Skills
Fluent written and verbal communication in both English and Swahili
