As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects related to utilities, including power, water, sewer, and office repairs within Tilisi. Your role involves ensuring seamless operations and efficient coordination across various stakeholders, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilities Management:
Facilitate temporary and permanent connections for power, water, and sewer needs of contractors and developers.
Onboard and manage utility customers
Resolve utility issues affecting operational developers and contractors.
Communicate utility matters, including outages, to stakeholders and relevant authorities.
Review and validate utility readings, ensuring accurate billing and tariff application.
Ensure timely and accurate utility billing and payments to regulators and service providers.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs of utility infrastructure with designated service providers.
Asset Management and Compliance:
Maintain asset registers and manage asset security for utility related equipment.
Develop and track budgets for utilities.
ensuring compliance with regulators and agreements.
Oversee maintenance of substations, boreholes, STPs, and related infrastructure.
Coordinate service providers for repairs of utilities equipment
Implement and follow SoPs
Stay updated with industry regulations
Other Tasks:
Coordinate office repairs and maintenance with relevant service providers.
Manage development guidelines and contractor induction meetings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, or related field.
2 years experience in facilities or project coordination within a similar industry.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and stakeholder management.
Adapt to changing priorities and handle stressful situations, such as emergency utility disruptions
