Export Sales Administrator

Our client, a well-established company in the FMCG sector and with a long track record in Kenya and overseas Markets, is hiring An Export Sales Administrator.
The Job holder will be responsible for co-coordinating the activities of export business and ensuring that the company maintains and grows the existing markets and continuously establish new markets for the company’s products
Reports to: Head of Sales & Marketing
Direct Reports: Export clerk
Responsibilities

Assist the Export Manager in the implementation of strategic plans
Ensure the smooth running of all on-line platforms and responding to all enquiries.
Assist in preparing shipping documents, regulatory approvals for exports and filing of returns as may be required.
Receive, edit, verify, track and coordinate information on customer orders/shipments with production scheduling and dispatch.
Maintain/update customer profiles for all clients
Ensure export markets growth, planning, profitability and execution.
Gather market intelligence for potential export markets and share with the Export Manager
Ensure all internal control policies in regard to export procedures, trading terms, policies and are adhered to.
Assist in developing quarterly rolling SKU, realistic demand forecast for individual markets.
Maintain standard operating procedures and customer profiles including key contacts, special requirements, contract rates and a record of any customer preferred services, customer property held by the company including intellectual property, artworks and packaging material.
Resolve issues respective to meeting client requirements, data input – general customer service inquiries related to tracking & tracing.
Prepare export reports and analysis of statistical data.
In liaison with Legal Office, facilitate international registration requirements for the Company and brands; and ensure compliance on all legal and statutory requirements as may be deemed necessary.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Bachelor degree in business related field e.g. International Marketing
Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing. (CIM)
Qualification in Clearing and Forwarding or Shipping will be an added advantage.
Three (3) to five (5) years in FMCGs with a minimum of two (2) in export markets.
Demonstrated negotiation skills.
Demonstrated strong computer proficiency skills.
