Expansion Manager

The Head of Expansion will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the expansion efforts of the Jibu operating company. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational skills, an understanding of our franchising processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Franchise Development:

Collaborate with the franchise development team to identify and evaluate potential territories for expansion.
Conduct market research to assess the viability and demand for the company’s franchise offerings with the Franchisee Engagement teams

Recruitment of Franchisee:

Develop and maintain relationships with potential franchisees, guiding them through the application and approval process.
Coordinate franchisee interviews, presentations, and site visits.

Documentation and Compliance:

Assist franchisees in completing required documentation and ensure compliance with franchising regulations.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to facilitate the timely processing of franchise agreements

Build Outs:

Work closely with selected construction firm/vendor to complete production sight with the right agreed cost, quality and timelines
Work closely with OpCo leadership, Finance and Franchisee on expansion forecast

Brand Adherence:

Ensure that franchisees’s build out adhere to brand standards and guidelines.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify compliance and implement corrective actions if necessary.

Market Feedback:

Gather feedback from franchisees regarding market trends, customer preferences, and competition.
Provide insights to the franchisor for strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

Work closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to align franchisee engagement strategies with overall business objectives.
Champion the franchisee perspective in the development of new initiatives and policies.

Performance Reporting:

Prepare regular reports on build outs, franchisee performance and engagement metrics.
Present findings to leadership and contribute insights for strategic planning.

Experience :

Proven experience in franchise management, business development, or a related field.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Knowledge of franchise operations, marketing, and financial principles.
Ability to travel as needed to engage with franchisees in person
