EV Testing & Validation Technician /Engineer Enterprise Partner Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and validating electric vehicle systems, including batteries, powertrains, motors, and control systems. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicle performance, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute testing and validation plans for electric vehicle 2wh & 3wh vehicles, components and systems based on engineering requirements
Conduct vehicle-level testing for range, efficiency, acceleration, thermal performance management, and safety compliance.
Log the CAN data during on road testing, update the test records, analyse test results and provide detailed reports.
Conduct EV Vehicle and component-level testing including battery, motor, power electronics, and charging systems.
Perform validation tests on EV software, hardware, and integrated systems.
Troubleshoot and debug EV subsystems. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Development, Production) for validation efforts.
Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and regulations (ISO, SAE, etc.)
Maintain test equipment and setups. – Identify and report issues, track them through resolution.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field at least one year of experience in automotive testing/validation, preferably with electric vehicles. Or Certifications in testing or validation related to EV systems.
Familiarity with industry standard CAN basics understanding, CAN tool & Software’s. Need to have Valid driver’s license and ability to operate test vehicles.
Experience with handling of Electric & Electronics measurement equipment like digital multimeter, Clamp meter, Oscilliscope & Data acquisition system.

Knowledge of automotive testing methodology, standards and regulations
Ability to log & analyse the CAN vehicle, Battery CAN bus data and generate report.
Proficiency in any one of industry standard CAN tool like PCAN, CAN AnalystII, Vector etc. or other testing tools.
Proficiency in any one of CAN data logging software like Busmaster or CANtest or PCAN View or CAN analyser or CANoe.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Need to have Valid driver’s license and ability to operate test vehicles.
