The ESG Intern will work to support the continued establishment, implementation and reporting on progress, and ESG disclosures in accordance with ATI’s ESG policy and internationally recognized best practices. This will include support to ensure proper implementation of procedures and help develop and track key ESG performance metrics and dashboards to ensure ESG performance is accurately captured and communicated.
The ESG Intern will report to the Senior ESG Officer within the Risk Department and works to contribute to the implementation of ATI’s ESG policy.
Main Responsibilities
Assist optimizing internal procedures, particularly in developing and maintaining proper ESG data collection and reporting;
Assist on key issues related to ESG assessment and monitoring of ATI’s operations;
Support, improve and develop tools to monitor progress of key sustainability indicators;
Provide support with ESG data collection & analysis, including processing & visualizing data;
Provide support on implementation of ATI’s grievance mechanism;
Provide support to develop processes to collect and report greenhouse gas data from activities and portfolio and support the implementation of the climate change roadmap.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental sciences, climate change or relevant field;
Knowledge of ESG standards, ESG reporting frameworks, trends, especially in financial services;
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in ESG/sustainability;
Understanding and experience in financial services;
Experience with ESG tools development and enhancement;
Experience with ESG data management and reports preparation (e.g. corporate social responsibility reports, sustainability reports, climate disclosure etc.);
Experience in developing and maintaining ESG data ecosystems to facilitate internal and external reporting and benchmarking needs;
Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to details;
Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation) abilities;
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;
Bilingual abilities (English and French) will be a competitive advantage.
