RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Manage the maintenance and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans and initiatives. 2. Participate in the investigation of incidents, near-misses and property damage Incidents. Ensuring follow up is done to minimize future exposure and proper records are maintained. 3. Conduct, coordinate and track various trainings to support company programs. 4. Conduct routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental health and safety policies. procedures and practices. 5. Maintain internal and regulatory reporting. 6. Ensuring that the company meets all the legislative compliance obligations with OSHA. 7. Serve as primary contact for all regulatory agencies for inspection.REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelors of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field 2. Computer literate 3. A minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably in a manufacturing set up.
