Responsibilities
The person will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on changes to business processes, systems and technology, and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage.
Together with the Chief Operating Officer, manage a time-bound, third-party engagement to deliver a defined set of products guiding organizational transformation. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to transformation, fostering engagement and shared commitment.
Design and maintain a project engagement plan that includes all critical milestones, tasks, resources, delivery dates, interdependencies, risks, issues, and key assumptions.
Co-design elements of CI’s refined operational model working with a variety of stakeholders including leadership and a third party.
Partner with executive and senior leadership team members to develop, plan, and lead the implementation of large-scale, forward-looking transformation programs and change management strategies. Align initiatives with organizational objectives, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness to strengthen mission delivery in a complex, global environment.
Drive an internal communications strategy for the overarching organizational transformation initiative, as well as well as component initiatives. Develop communications for executive, manager-level, and organization-wide audiences. Serve as an effective internal spokesperson and influencer.
Integrate change management activities into a comprehensive project plan that is regularly tracked and monitored and reported on. Define and track performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs]). Identify and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Proactively recognize new opportunities and develop innovative solutions to continually create operational efficiencies. Identify industry best practices to enhance processes and drive system improvements.
Continually assess the change impact on the organization.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal office working conditions.
Position may require some travel.
This position follows a hybrid work structure, working some days from the office and some remotely. Guidance will be shared during the interview process.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 10 or more years of professional experience.
Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change within a large and/or growing organization.
Experience in non-profit enterprise operations and right-sizing / right-shaping programs to be fit for purpose to deliver future vision, strategy and organizational needs.
Executive presence and interpersonal skills to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and affect change through influence.
Excels at communicating and presenting critical matters to senior management and other stakeholders. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Embodies a balance between strategic and tactical mindsets. Problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
Fluency with non-profit fundraising and financial management.
Experience with project planning with strong organization and prioritization skills.
Operates with a high degree of integrity and trust. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
