Engineers Operations Coordinator

About the role

SunCulture is looking for an enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to head the engineering team. S/he should be tech-savvy with the ability to work with online systems and CRM software. S/he is motivated and constantly looking to learn and do more to support the team through ensuring SunCulture’s mission and vision is attained. The Engineers Operations Coordinator core is to drive results through others and ensure All set KPIs are attained month on month. 

Key Responsibilities

Operations Roles

Ensure the engineer’s team leads allocate a minimum of 2 tasks per day and that the individual worksheets are updated daily.
Ensure engineers attain the set KPI’s in terms of Installation, customer product training, turn around time, and aftersale services.
Follow up with the team leads to ensure engineers contact all clients within 24 hours of role client being assigned to them and the preferred date of installation is updated into the system
Crosscheck and confirm that the teams’ individual worksheets are filled ie details on the date of installation and date of completion should be filled in.
Ensure all pending installations are completed within a month and follow-ups are made on cancellations as a result of the client’s unavailability.
Ensure all dispatches are shared with team leads within 24 hours after data is shared 
Ensure the accuracy and  visibility of  all tasks assigned  to engineer on Power BI 

Work Reports

Daily check in  to ensure team leads have assigned tasks and pending JSF have been synced into the system
Verify and submit all claim forms sent by the team leads for payment, highlighting irregularities, and ensure all are submissions are done before 3 PM every Monday.
Submitting a detailed monthly report indicating work progress, challenges, and highlighting the risks.
Use data to drive performance, increase productivity, and do proper planning to ensure efficiency at all times.

Leadership and Team Management

Work closely with the team leads to align work plan and communicate any hiccups faced
Build a culture of high performance and collaboration among the team members
Identify & highlight gaps in the systems and processes and come up with lasting solutions to the problems
Ensure all new hires joining the team are properly oriented  and onboarded 
Have daily check-in with your team members to enhance proper communication and give prompt feedback to your team members
Assist in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process of new engineers into the team
Ensure the engineers’ playbook is designed and engineers are trained on all the systems and processes to be followed to better perform their roles.
Regular communication on  gaps and risks and come up with  mitigation measures
Identify skills gaps among team members and design training materials that bridge the gap especially technical skills gap
Collaborate and provide support to the  BD Projects team as and when needed

Does This Sound Like You?

Has a degree qualification preferably in Engineering, Operations from a recognized institution
Has experience in engineering operations planning and data analytics
A transformational leader able to drive results through others and, work with diverse teams to ensure smooth work delivery
Ability to manage teams and use the data to forecast and plan future manpower needs
Knowledge and working experience with a robust ERP
Ability to work comfortably with and maintain large volumes of data in excel, GSuite
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work remotely under minimal supervision
Must be self-motivator and self-starter who is resourceful and have roll-up sleeves mentality;
Exhibit excellent technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Solid time management skills;  
Must be able to effectively deal with people at all levels inside and outside SunCulture;
Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced, team environment
