Job Description
Sheer Logic Management Consultants is seeking to engage dynamic individuals for Engineer Compliance Technician position for one of our clients.
The Compliance Technician is responsible for reviewing and updating engineering SOPs and coordinating weekly closure of actions in the engineering sustainability plan. He or she will ensure Coordination of closure of existing Ammonia Safety Audit & Boiler House Safety Audit gaps, Rotary Valves Gaps, Engineering Compliance Gaps and Engineering related Q-compliance gaps. He will also be responsible for resolving all compliance issues in engineering and design while documenting and recommending process changes in spares parts to ensure the safety of all machine operations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering.
A minimum of three years’ experience working as a compliance engineer.
Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures.
Thorough hands-on experience either in mechanical or electrical engineering.  
Experience with product-testing and process analysis.
Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.
Solid technical knowledge of Fast consumer moving good manufacturing set up.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineers to ensure existing engineering compliance related gaps are closed on time.
Update Contractors’ Management Compliance file.
Coordinate implementation of actions in the engineering sustainability plan and monthly update the same.
Support the engineers to prepare monthly engineering reports.
Maintain database of reviewed documentation for comparison to actual documents presented at time prior to manufacturing using the machines available.
Support and participate in process improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing tools and techniques as required.
Perform internal audits as required by the Quality Manager & Safety Manager following all safety rules and regulations.
Deliver planned test, inspection and maintenance programme timely to the nominated compliance remit in accordance with legislative requirements, procedure and engineering standards.
Record and undertake corrective actions immediately when identified for nominated compliance remit.
Undertake suitable risk assessment prior to undertaking corrective maintenance work and document in full to ensure and evidence safe working practice.
Support workflow efficiency and liaise with the engineering for planned and corrective maintenance tasks management.
Ensure all test equipment is calibrated, suitably maintained and meets current regulations.
Ensure all relevant records and files are appropriately maintained in accordance with standard operating and procedure.
Ensure Site Activity Log Books are completed timely and accurately and are maintained in accordance with SOPs.
Provide support in producing ad-hoc compliance/ technical engineering reports as required.
Accountable for the completion of standard or non-standard tasks within compliance area.
Information on the certification document is reviewed for clarity and conformance.
Perform any other duties in line with compliance health and safety requirements.
