Assess and Act: Quickly evaluate emergencies and take decisive action to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Bridge Communication: Facilitate clear and efficient communication between callers and first responders, ensuring vital information is relayed promptly.
Guide and Support: Provide essential medical guidance to callers and patients, offering reassurance and instructions until professional help arrives.
Leverage Technology: The advanced Flare Dispatch technology optimises the deployment of first-response vehicles, ensuring the fastest possible response times.
Record Keeping: Maintain precise and accurate records of emergency calls and interventions to ensure seamless follow-up and accountability.

Requirements

Dispatch or Call Center Experience: Experience in a dispatch or call center environment is highly valued.
Calm Under Pressure: Ability to stay composed and effective in high-pressure situations.
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Multitasking Expertise: Skilled at handling multiple tasks simultaneously while providing exceptional customer service.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in computer usage and touch typing (speed testing will be conducted. To prep, please use this link to test your fingers before you commence our assessment).
Ability to work shift hours: We are a 24-hour dispatch center working around the clock. Depending on the shift, you will be required to work at night, early morning, or on weekends.
