Our Client is seeking to recruit an ELV Engineer to join their Team. He/She should have Experience in the Engineering field- design, installation, operation, maintenance and integration with other systems of Fire Alarm, BMS, PA System, MATV; Knowledge in Facility Management Systems operations & Engineering best practices;Should have good knowledge on networks, protocols, configuration, installation and integration CCTV, ACS, Car Park & X-Ray System; IP and analogue CCTV Systems; Telephony Systems, Switching and routingKnowledgeable with the use of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook);Good communications skills in English
Responsibilities
Provide technical, cost, schedule and design advice for Access Control, CCTV and Structured Cabling Systems
Manage, schedule and monitor the implementation of Access Control, CCTV and Structured Cabling systems
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;
Provide value engineering and constructability advice on ELV systems
Ensure subcontractors/Casuals execute ELV work in line with relevant standards and requirements.
Manage project documentation including shop drawings, material submittals, bill certification, measurements, as built drawings, O&M manuals and handover documentation
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise
Technical Competencies
Security Systems – Professional working knowledge
Passive ICT systems – Professional working knowledge
Audio Visual systems – Technical familiarity
Building Management System – Technical familiarity
Fire Alarm System – Technical familiarity
Public Address System – Technical familiarity
Technical writing
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic engineering
Certifications from at least one vendor in each system listed under
Project Management Professional – PMP will be an added advantage
Membership in professional body
