Electrical Sales Executive

Job Purpose

This position plays a crucial role in marketing and selling the company’s products (meters, solar panels, transformer repair services, new transformers) to private clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Market Research: Understand the target market, customer needs, and competitors’ offerings through research and analysis
Develop Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with business development team to develop effective strategies for promoting the company products or services. This may involve advertising campaigns, social media marketing, email marketing, etc.
Generate Leads: Use various techniques such as cold calling, networking, attending events, and leveraging social media to generate leads and potential customers.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with customers. Follow up on leads, answer queries, and provide support to ensure customer satisfaction
Sales Presentations: Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers, showcasing the features and benefits of the products or services.
Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate terms and prices with customers and work towards closing sales deals.
Track Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales data to assess performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer interactions and market trends to continuously improve products and marketing strategies.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, leads, and conversions for management review.

Qualifications Required

Degree in Business, marketing or a relevant course
Certified Sales Professional or Certified Service Professional
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical field. Having sold meters, solar panels, transformer repair services and new transformers will bean added advantage.
Good communication
Excellent negotiation Skills
Excellent Product/service knowledge
Excellent time management
