Dispatch Lead

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE:
Responsible for managing a fast paced food assembly and dispatch section to deliver food for on-demand, corporate and catering clients as well as all Kune Hubs. Shall be responsible for overall dispatch planning, hub operations, meal packaging and assembly, timely deliveries, product quality, safety and compliance.
They shall be managing the dispatch associates and packing champions as well as commercial operations associates who have daily interactions with our corporate partners.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directing staff and operational control over the dispatch team.
Maintain the highest standards of quality, accuracy and safety.
Actively manages the planning, scheduling and logistics associated with making customer deliveries.
Responsible and work with team members to ensure proper packaged meal preparation, assembly, accurate meal counts, verification, timely deliveries and excellent customer relations.
Ensure that the team follows SOPs, PPE requirements and relevant daily routines.
Enforces and implements good operational procedures such as daily checklists which should result in zero errors.
Motivate the team to achieve daily team targets and bring up the company’s values and management principles alive in the dispatch department.
Build and maintain excellent customer relations, acting proactively to resolve potential issues and adapting to the ever-changing business environment.
Actively coach, train and develop the team to build confidence, implement process control methods and deliver KPI results.
Provide training and motivation to team members, using recognition and positive feedback.
Understand and monitor OKRs and KPIs, section targets and the root cause of poor performance, implement corrective actions to drive results.
Follow all HSE standards, GMPs, Food Safety, visual quality and PPE requirements.
Set priorities and give direction based upon the daily plan.
Complete and share a variety of reports on dispatch daily operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Culinary Arts, Food Safety or Management.
Minimum 5 years experience in actively managing dispatch operations / environments with daily routing within multiple locations.
Logistic or supply chain experience with fresh food or refrigerated operation.
