Daystar University is looking thire a competent person tthe office of Director, Resource Mobilization, Projects, and Partnerships (DRMPP).
Key Role of Director
Lead the implementation of donor funded development initiatives thelp realize the university strategic growth plans.
Work in the office of the Vice Chancellor and will be expected timplement programs traise 30 million USD over a period of five years with an annual target of at least 6M USD.
Observe internal reporting, governance, accountability, and ethical guidelines while managing external donor communications, coordinating internal university
fundraising initiatives and monitoring the deployment of funds raised for designated purposes.
Expedite Daystar US office programs and mobilize the more than 20,000 alumni, business, and international community tsupport Daystar development initiatives.
While applicants are encouraged from outside the education sector, the qualified candidate will be expected twork with the university administrative process and strategic policy framework trealize work outcomes and performance target
Candidate should have the following requirements: –
Academic & professional Qualifications:
Candidates should have at least a master’s degree from a recognized university,demonstrable track record of growing strategic funds and effectively managing donor relations.
Management Experience:
Corporate fund developer in local and or international organizations.
Global network professional working in the donor sector
Expertise in developing and marketing funding proposals, drafting contractual engagements with partners, foundations, and agreements with funders.
Ability tcreate, develop and lead a departmental team using relationship management technology testablish a fund development pipeline.
Several years of work experience in a multinational context requiring complex coordination with multiple stakeholders.
Proven record of mobilizing resources in private and public sectors, preferably in the field of education.

The post of Director, Resource Mobilization is a one term of five (5) year contract and will be eligible for renewal based on satisfactory performance. The position carries a competitive remuneration package, terms, and benefits against performance targets within the university policy guidelines.
