Responsibilities
Oversee the project’s operations from a finance and administration perspective.
Ensure that project operations are in compliance with donor and PATH policies and procedures.
Provide oversight on the procurement, logistics, human resources, accounting, finance, and records functions.
Provide ongoing financial management to the project, including the processing of approvals for procurements, sub awards and vendor invoices.
Manage the project budget and prepare financial reports for submission to USAID.
Fashion and implement fraud mitigation practices and ensure that the systems and processes are implemented effectively to support implementation of the project.
Required Skills
A Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field relevant to the position requirements.
At least eight years of experience in financial and administrative management for large complex projects, of which at least five years were working in the field of international development.
Experience interacting with donor agencies including central and local government, development partners, and civil society and community‐based organizations.
Demonstrated leadership skills in working collaboratively with other donors, host country institutions, and international organizations.
Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical and result‐oriented skills.
Professional level of fluency in oral and written in English language required.
Knowledge of labor laws.
Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities, and work under strict deadlines.
