Digital Sales Manager, Fixed Term

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Head of Retail, this role will focus on driving the commercialization of digital assets in the OMIG-K business, with a primary goal of expanding retail investments in unit trusts through digital solutions. The role holder will be responsible for utilizing data analytics  to identify opportunities, improve customer engagement, and grow the business. They will manage the performance of unit trust products on digital channels, create strategies to enhance customer acquisition, and drive business growth through digital channels. Additionally, the role will involve collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful execution of the digital strategy and go-to-market initiatives for retail investment products.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Commercialization & Channel Adoption – 70%

Lead the commercialization of retail investment products, particularly unit trusts, through digital channels, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful adoption and engagement of customers. Key performance indicators (KPIs) include assets under management, product revenue, customer growth, digital channel adoption, and retention rates.
Utilize data analytics and data science to uncover growth opportunities, enhance product offerings, and respond to customer behaviour insights. Ensure that data-driven strategies guide the development of customer-centric investment solutions.
Work with business development, marketing, communications, and data functions to create and execute go-to-market strategies for unit trust products, ensuring alignment with timelines, roles, and responsibilities.
Establish and manage KPIs related to sales growth, customer engagement, and unit trust product adoption across digital channels. Present performance metrics to business leaders to drive continuous improvement.
Oversee the delivery and performance of current digital unit trust offerings, ensuring revenue is captured efficiently, and the customer experience is optimized.
Identify and address issues affecting sales, customer acquisition, and product engagement, ensuring a proactive approach to resolution.
Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners and alliances to drive the commercialization of retail investment products and ensure effective process support.
Promote process innovation to optimize the customer journey and maintain competitive advantages in the retail investment space.
Build internal capabilities to ensure seamless fulfilment of sales and service functions for digital investment products.

Stakeholder Management – 30%

Engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders, partners, and external platforms, to secure commitment and feedback on product development, commercialization strategies, and digital initiatives.
Analyse stakeholder feedback and data to determine the best course of action for ongoing product improvements and customer engagement.
Implement risk management, opportunity assessment, and issue resolution strategies to ensure successful project execution.
Forecast business outcomes and ensure delivery of projected growth targets, aligning with the overall business strategy for retail investments and digital asset management..

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in business development, Sales, sales operations, or strategy roles within a digital business environment. MBA appreciated but not required.
In-depth understanding of the various mobile banking platforms
In-depth understanding of Financial Technology (Fintech).
Maintain up to date knowledge of competitor and local market activity
