As the Digital Marketing and Virtual Nurse Counsellor at Tiko, you will work with the teams to ensure that our social behavior change communication interventions are well implemented, focusing on a robust digital media presence and management.
Virtual Nurse Counselor Support
As a Virtual Nurse Counselor, you will assist our target audience if they experience issues with our digital platform or wish to enroll. You will escalate and refer issues to relevant departments within Tiko. You follow up to ensure we create a positive user experience by:
Calling clients who have requested to be called through ‘bonga’ triggers to be counseled on the relevant services.
Offering counseling to clients referred through WhatsApp and the Tiko social media platforms.
Being empathetic and going the extra mile for our Tiko clients
Digital marketing
Ensuring targeted content creation, digital media amplification, engagement, and mobilization of resources and support to our target audiences on their user journey.
Key activities:
Virtual Nurse counsellor support.
Use social media to reach Tiko target population with relevant information about Tiko membership and the services on offer.
Enrollment of our TA through digital channels, ensuring that interest is turned into impact by:
Actively engaging the TA to enroll and seek Tiko service offerings on the platform.
Support our TA through their user journey by escalating and referring issues to relevant departments within Tiko. You follow up to ensure we create a positive user experience.
Ensure growth in the size of Tiko online community evidenced by increased digital engagement and self-enrolment to the Tiko platform via social media.
Develop and implement social media content and calendars with the input and direction of the Tiko teams aligned to the strategic brand and operational activities in-country.
Provide Daily community management for Tiko social platforms such as support and responding to comments.
Social listening for data-driven decision-making on audience interests, content opportunities, engagement, brand reputation, and continuous adaptation through tracking and analyzing social media conversations.
Research audience preferences and discover digital media emerging trends ensuring maximum effectiveness.
Manage and inform media buying for our social platform to increase traffic as well as engagement on the social platform by securing ideal locations, placements, and times to run ads to maximize their effectiveness with our users.
Prepare and submit reports of the various activities as per due dates detailing our performance against our key performance metrics.
Social Behavioral Change
Facilitate and deliver training sessions that empower participants to adopt and promote positive behavioral changes within their communities.
Assist in developing training materials and curricula that are tailored to the needs of specific audiences, ensuring content is both culturally relevant and impactful.
Use a variety of training techniques, such as role-plays, group discussions, and case studies, to engage participants and encourage active learning.
Support SBC and marketing activities as assigned by the country marketing manager this would include: activations, community events, trainings etc.
Supporting other departments with administrative duties relevant in delivering their support functions.

Requirements
Degree in Health communications, social work, marketing and communications or related field.
Expertise in social media marketing: Knowledge and experience in the field of sexual and reproductive health.
Data-driven approach: emphasize data analysis and insights to inform campaign strategies.
Knowledge of youth culture and behavior.
