Digital Marketing Campaign Writer

Overall Purpose

CloudFactory has a lot of stories to tell, and we’re looking for the right person to bring them to life through marketing campaigns. You will be an exceptional content creator to write and produce various types of short-form demand generation content to expand CloudFactory’s awareness, help educate prospects, and most importantly, generate high-quality leads.

You will enjoy working in this role if you have the passion to communicate with our target audience through social media, email, and advertisements. You are a self-motivated marketer with a high level of attention to detail, and strong project management skills who understands how to match messages to channels, and that can turn the static word into a highly engaging, compelling story.

This position will work collaboratively with teammates across the marketing team to fulfill campaign content and launch content through a variety of channels.

Responsibilities

Coordinate content on social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Quora. Curate and draft content to organically promote campaign outreach activities.
Monitor and respond to our audience on social platforms, making improvements accordingly
Write content and implement for a variety of messaging channels (e.g. email, paid ad copy, organic social)
Work with demand generation team to help support creation of email and nurture content
Conduct SEO keyword research to guide the targeting of messages and content
Become proficient in our industry by listening and learning to understand and tell our story better. Be our champion, identifying the right messaging for the right audience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business or Communications (or related degree)
2+ years experience in a professional English writing or content marketing role, ideally in a B2B company
Successful writer and marketer with experience creating compelling short-form content for a variety of campaign channels, and business needs
Proven editing capability, with an eye for prioritizing the most impactful messages
Knowledge of sponsored content, social media advertising, and ppc is strongly preferred

Experience with social management systems (HubSpot, Canva, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.) and/or keyword research tools is a bonus
