Digital, Data & IT Engagement Lead

The position
We are looking for motivated and self-driven individual to take up the role of Digital, Data & IT Engagement Lead (DDIT). You will be responsible for driving the DDIT agenda and deliver business IT tools that make a tangible difference for the business and the affiliate. You will be responsible for both Middle Africa and South Africa affiliates. You will be part of the Finance & Operations team (finance, logistics and IT) which supports the sales and back-office. You will report to the Head of F&O in Middle Africa, Nairobi. As a DDIT Engagement Lead you will ensure high quality business IT services and thereby deliver IT solutions that support the business. As a subject matter expert, you will assist with the implementation and development of business IT tools.
The key responsibilities are:

You will be an affiliate business partner and act as a trusted advisor with a strong business and IT understanding.
You will ensure high-quality Digital, Data, and IT services and solutions are delivered to the two affiliates.
You will identify technology trends, respond to requests from business units, deliver, and maintain digital solutions to fulfil the business requirements.
You will assist with the implementation and development of the DDIT strategy in both affiliates.
You will act as a regional subject matter expert within a focus area based on the experience, knowledge, and business priorities.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

About 5 years’ experience of IT and Project management.
Digital/Data/IT/Business management related experience.
University degree preferably in Information, Science and Technology or related field.
Excellent in spoken and written English.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Strong insights into new IT systems and the growing digital market.
Ability to be the link between the business and global IT.
You are independent and self-driven with a strong desire to influence.
Local and regional pharma market knowledge will be an advantage.
