Key Responsibilities
Leading the Life Assurance technical function in managing and supporting business systems including solution enhancement and support issues related to Life Assurance
Ensuring alignment of the Life Assurance technical function towards the company strategy such as greater reach, industry competitiveness and overall profitability.
Managing integration across various platforms with the Life Assurance core systems: including analytics platforms, financial systems and communication systems (SMS and Email).
Prepare monthly reports to the Group ICT Manager on the performance of the entire portfolio of systems supporting Life Assurance subsidiary.
Provide leadership for all IT support activities and ensure the resolution of service incidents escalated to the Life Assurance Business and/or provision of appropriate workarounds for incidents escalated as problems.
Escalate problems and continuously engage with the third party support vendors to ensure timely resolution of all escalated system faults/bugs on the Life Assurance Business systems.
Contribute to the company’s knowledge and expertise with respect to IT service management.
Undertake any other tasks as assigned.

Demonstrable track record in System analysis, relational database design skills and IT Support Operation Function.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills;
Ability to maintain the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism;
Ability to interact with all levels of customers and IT Stakeholders in the organization.
Academic and Professional Qualifications required
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with 2 years in Senior Software Development and/or IT systems support role within a large highly digitized organization managing mission critical systems
Demonstrable track record in System Analysis, Software Development, Relational Database Design skills and IT support functions.
Good understanding of the BFSI industry (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) and how Information Technology contributes to success of Financial Institutions.
ITIL service level management certification is an advantage.
