Job Overview:
We are looking for highly motivated Debt Collection Agent Interns to join our Collections team. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in debt recovery, account activation, and customer negotiation within a professional and dynamic environment. Successful candidates will work closely with experienced collections agents, learning key skills in financial recovery and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in contacting clients with overdue accounts through calls, emails, and follow-ups.
Support in negotiating repayment plans and settlements with customers.
Learn and assist in skip tracing to locate hard-to-reach clients.
Maintain and update customer records in the system.
Assist in preparing reports on collections progress and settlements.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements:
Education: Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (recent graduates or continuing students preferred).
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
