Your primary contribution will be in applying your comprehensive knowledge of Data Protection and you will serve as the technical thought leader for the security team and the broader organization on data protection matters. You will perform advanced areas of work for the department and may be responsible for entire programs or portions of projects/programs with considerable impact to the organization. You may also represent your department to others across the organization.
This position can be remote within one of the country locations HFHI operates in.
Responsibilities:
Lead efforts and solutions to locate and classify HFHI enterprise data assets to determine which data requires to be protected and assessed for external threats and internal risks
Work in collaboration with others to develop data security policies to optimize data protection to guide business usage and technical support processes
Develop Data Security, Data Privacy and Confidentiality standards in relation to confidential and regulatory levels
Develop data security access controls
Assess risk of data processing systems
Conduct audits of data security and compliance to ensure that polices are followed and controls are effectively managed
Establish safety protocols to protect all data managed by the organization and received from vendors from accidental or willful alteration, destruction, or leaks and caters to emergency data processing requirements
Train all levels of HFHI organization on data security policies, standards and procedures
Collaborate with IT Governance and legal counsel to ensure the appropriate data protection security language is included in vendor SOWs and service level agreements

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
5-10 Years IT related experience
1-5 Years On-Job-Experience
Experience with compliance regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or other data privacy laws
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and identify solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on large, complex projects/programs
Proficiency in relevant technologies and tools, such as Microsoft Purview and other data security tools
