This position is responsible for capturing the administration related to data integrity of all data-provider submissions by thoroughly reviewing and communicating failures for resolution to analysts responsible and submissions that do not meet redetermined statistical thresholds or benchmarks. This assists in ensuring incoming credit data conforms to current data quality standards, legislative and service level agreements as well as formatting requirements.
Performs detailed research to determine the root cause of each submission failure. Communicates failure source and provides resolution paths to the appropriate Data Analyst or data provider. In addition, this position creates and maintains reports containing supplier, client, individual and team performance statistics. This position works under moderate supervision.
How you will contribute:
Analyzes data submissions failing to meet pre-determined statistical benchmarks and makes business critical decisions to either allow the data to pass through the system or be removed from processing.
Provides data analysts and data providers with data integrity information and suggestions for possible corrective measures.
Research data submission failures to identify the source of the failure.
Identifies and applies corrective procedures to failed submissions or routes the submissions, with failure reasons, to the appropriate data provider and data analyst for further research or replacement.
Identifies minor processes for improvement.
Educates departmental associates as needed.
Participates in low-impact team and cross-functional projects as necessary.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

The position requires passed Secondary Education and three or more years’ experience in a data processing or customer service environment, preferably within the credit or financial industry.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Possesses the capacity to learn and ultimately master the business rules relating to data integrity and media processing.
Should have above average knowledge of personal computers and the commonly used software applications utilized within the business unit. Must possess strong analytical, problem solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
