Job Purpose:
Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Customer Sales Executive to join their retail team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background with a proven track record of selling over the counter, proficient use of Point of Sale (POS) systems, and the ability to leverage social media platforms to promote products. This role demands excellent customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Provide detailed product information to customers, guiding them through the purchasing process.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
Operate POS systems efficiently, including processing transactions, refunds, and exchanges.
Stock shelves, rotate products, and conduct inventory checks.
Monitor and manage product levels and liaise with management for stock replenishment.
Utilize social media platforms to promote products, special deals, and new arrivals.
Engage with customers online, responding to comments and inquiries.
Create and manage content for social media campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
Track and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a retail environment.
Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Experience in leveraging social media for marketing and sales purposes.
Passion for sewing and knowledge of sewing machines, yarn, fabric, and thread.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging with customers.
