Creative Designer

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients and assist with the company’s graphic design needs. This is an ideal opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience.
The Designer’s responsibilities include gathering user requirements,designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base. This opportunity is open to candidates who have recently completed their studies or have about 1-2 years of experience.
Responsibilities

Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with technical engineers and application developers
Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Designing clear and engaging communications for print and web. This will include website and social media graphics, posters, flyers, brochures, and other marketing materials as needed.
Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
Building page navigation buttons and search fields
Developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
Preparing and presenting rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback
Adhering to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Responsible for quality control checks on new and existing documents and graphic designs

Requirements

Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Knowledge of wireframe tools will be an added advantage
Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Basic understanding of and interest in learning more about the principals of web design.
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good time-management skills
Quick learner who asks questions and is eager to grow.
Responsive to email, telephone calls and direct communication.
