What you’ll do
The Corporate Sales & Ticketing Executive will manage corporate business partner sales and ticketing inquiries for airline, hotel, and car hire, ensuring customer queries are resolved promptly.
Principal Accountabilities (Key Performance Areas):
Corporate Partners Sales & Ticketing:
Prudent management of booking requests from corporate business partners, including new bookings, changes, cancellations, and refunds.
Ensure quick turnaround (within 24 hours) of corporate partners’ phone queries and emails.
Maintain nil or minimal complaints from corporate partners.
Reporting (Internal & External):
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly sales reconciliation reports for business partners.
Prepare and submit monthly business partners’ performance reports to management for analysis and decision-making.
Ensure reports are submitted by the 5th day of the subsequent month.
Periodic Visits to Corporate Business Partners:
Conduct periodic visits to corporate business partners to strengthen business relationships.
Maintain a quarterly log of business partner visits and feedback.
Foster personalized relationships with business partners and receive compliments from them.
Qualifications
At least 2 years’ experience in Corporate Travel Management (airline, hotel, and car bookings) within a busy travel agency.
Diploma in IATA Travel & Tourism /Hotel Management/Sales & Marketing
University degree from a recognized university a plus
Proficiency in Amadeus and/or Travelport GDS
Knowledge of Kenyan Corporate Travel Market
Good command of MS office applications
Strong selling and negotiation skills.
Ability to relate well with internal and external customers.
Good analytical, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
