Job Summary:
To Lead the Sales function in providing both reactive and proactive, multi-skilled Sales expertise on all Institutional sales-related activities. Increase Institutional Sales effectiveness and efficiency to improve customer experience and satisfaction. Manage and implement improvement plans while also driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Primary Responsibilities
Strategy and Development
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best Sales practices, strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve Institutional Sales performance.
General and Task Management
To expand the institutional business with existing & new customers.
Manage the sales pipeline effectively including qualifying in, progressing, and closing opportunities
Play an active role in product and capability development by articulating long-term trends and product gaps
Travelling when necessary to meet clients and/or prospect new relationships.
Leverages the organization’s relationship with existing institutional accounts by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives
Identifies and cultivates prospects and/or clients
Initiates and follows up on new business opportunities.
Responsible for one-point contact for the customers for complaints, collecting & analyzing data, and improving the overall customer experience
Ensure a smooth ordering process by monitoring order traffic, tracking orders, and following up with consumers to assess customer satisfaction.
Actively participate in scheduled internal weekly and annual sales meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant and beneficial information.
Collect customer feedback through surveys and prepare weekly reports to help in improving products /services.
Observe market trends and online sales data to develop sales forecasts, which they use to build effective strategies

Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess the ongoing performance of the team members

Qualification
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Degree in a business related field
Experience: atleast 8 years in a marketing related role in furniture/mattress industry
Candidates from the Indian community would be preferred but not a must
Possess good verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate the personal qualities of being a self-starter, organized, results oriented and a team player
