Contracting Coordinator

As a Contracting Coordinator you will provide support and coordination assistance to the Contracting Manager to maintain and implement contracting systems and processes which meet Intrepid’s business needs and aligns with the global business. This includes assisting the Contracting Manager to consistently improve Intrepid East Africa’s contract rates and profitability levels. 

This is a permanent, full-time, office-based position. To provide the best experience to our people, this role will be operating out of our office in Nairobi, Kenya.  

A love of travel is a must have! With it you’ll bring: 

Diploma in tourism management or its equivalent 
Extensive travel experience in East Africa and a passion for travel 
Proven experience in contracting, pricing, sourcing, and contract management 
Experience in analysis and creating reports 
Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint  
Be able to communicate in English and Swahili 

You’ll have excellent negotiation skills and interpersonal skills across a variety of cultures. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be the catalyst to your success in this role.
