The consultant will:
Conduct a pre-retreat assessment through interviews, surveys, or focus group discussions to understand key challenges and needs.
Design and facilitate an interactive team retreat that includes:
Leadership development sessions for SMT and staff
Communication and collaboration workshops
Accountability and responsibility frameworks
HFH values alignment sessions
Addressing leadership transitions and change management
Provide individual and group coaching where necessary.
Develop a post-retreat action plan with clear recommendations to ensure sustainable change.
Submit a final report summarizing key observations, recommendations, and an implementation roadmap.
Deliverables
Pre-retreat assessment report highlighting key team challenges and areas for improvement.
Customized retreat agenda and facilitation plan.
Delivery of a structured two-day engagement on 19th and 20th March 2025.
Post-retreat report including observations, recommendations, and an action plan for continued team development.
Consultant’s Qualifications and Experience
The ideal consultant should have:
A proven track record in organizational development, leadership coaching, or team building.
Experience facilitating retreats or workshops for teams facing similar challenges.
Strong knowledge of change management and strategic alignment.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with non-profits or international development organizations is an added advantage.
Duration and Timeline
The initial engagement will take place over two days (19th and 20th March 2025), with the potential for a longer-term assignment based on outcomes.
A pre-retreat assessment and planning phase will take place before the engagement.
Exact dates for post-retreat follow-up will be determined in consultation with HFH Kenya.
