Reporting to the Project Coordinator / Director, Centre of Excellence in Pharmaceutical Innovations & Analysis (CEPIA), the candidate will be expected to support learning activities of the Dual Vocational Training of Pharmaceutical Production program in the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:
PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from a recognized/accredited University with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level or in research or in industry in the relevant field
OR
A Master’s degree qualification (Should be registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral Degree qualification).
Must have published at least three (3) papers in peer-refereed journals or three (3) chapters in a scholarly book or one (1) scholarly book.
Be registered or registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
Demonstrated potential for teaching as illustrated by years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lecturing in area of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;
Coordinating course theory and practical work;
Reviewing teaching/learning materials;
Evaluating students and submitting progress reports;
Supervision of students’ seminars/workshops or symposia;
Developing and reviewing academic programs / curricula; and
Supervising students
