We are bringing on a Construction Admin. Without you, construction at Penda would be very disorganized. You bring structure in our budgets and contracts, and help us keep track of everything happening in construction so we are better able to meet our timelines and learn from previous projects.

Responsibilities
Raise purchase orders, track material/equipment purchases. Process bills in line with the purchase orders. Get receipts for all purchases from the Site Managers and enter them in our accounting system so they can focus on building beautiful Medical Centers.
Ensure Site Managers receive their weekly float on time to enable smooth running of site errands and account for it timely.
Track items purchased outside the approved construction budget and report weekly.
Support the Finance Department by providing projections of expected weekly construction expenditure.
Update the Finance Department with details of new suppliers and subcontractors and follow up with Finance Department to ensure timely payment of all suppliers and subcontractors.
Get updates on landlord progress in preparing new sites from the Site Managers and send out a weekly update to the construction manager, finance team and expansion manager.
Be the point of contact between construction team and other Support Office staff and ensure you follow up well with the rest of the construction team
Draft subcontractor / fundi agreements work together with the Construction Manager and the Site Managers to get them signed in a timely manner and process the signed agreements
Ensure all construction documents (contracts, invoices / bills and reports, etc.) are always well stored and organized in Dropbox and the construction whiteboard is up to date.
Support the Site Managers in updating closing stock for construction materials at the end of each project.
Perform general admin duties, including updating photocopying, scanning, and other miscellaneous errands.
Provide any other support to the Construction Site Managers and Construction Manager as needed
