Community Manager – Kenya

REQUIREMENTS
As a Community Manager for Cookpad in Kenya, your role will be to build a user community that people who like cooking want to be a part of. Your tasks and responsibilities include:

Designing the scheme and rules of the community
Managing community building activities such as recipe contests and events
Coordinating and posting social contents across channels
Managing user-generated contents applying “User-First” mindset
Using “Build-Measure-Learn” approach in community retention activities
Responding promptly to user feedback and solving user problems
Working closely with the regional leader and the product team acting as the bridge between users and product

are interested in how cooking can have a profound impact on the everyday lives of billions of people around the globe and on the planet
hold a Bachelor degree and have strong work experience (would be better if related to digital service)
have strong listening and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good rapport with users through writing and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness
have good independent problem solving capability
are a self-starter and highly motivated; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment and under extreme uncertainty, while maintaining a positive, proactive and energetic approach; are highly organized and able to multitask
have editorial skills, including copywriting and proofreading
have good sense/skills of data analysis
have working knowledge of online working tools; can master new online tools quickly
have a strong understanding of digital marketing; having good execution knowledge of relevant marketing tools will be a plus e.g. social media analytics tools and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
have previous work experience in an international team environment
would be better if you have graphic design skills/experience
