This role is for an entry-level professional who is passionate about engaging with people and leveraging different communications platforms to reach key audiences. The ideal candidate loves to work with little oversight in a team focussed organisation. They need to be motivated by the SunCulture’s mission of positively impacting the lives of farmers.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Business Focus
Develop and implement a communications strategy aligned to SunCulture and its target market
Generate sales leads through eye-catching content tailored to the farmer audience
Track and report on the effectiveness of the implemented strategy against the organisation’s goals
Cross-functional Awareness (internal)
Work with colleagues across internal teams to track product updates and company announcements and share with key audiences (i.e., customers, media, partners)
Support the coordination of organisation events
Management of SunCulture intranet and newsletter
Relationship Building (external)
Build an online community of farmers on social media to offer customer service and company updates
Understand the target audience and creatively tailor communications to their needs
Communicate directly with customers to solicit feedback on existing product effectiveness and potential products/features to be developed
