Responsibilities

Issue license in accordance with the act
Inspect outlets to ensure compliance
Perform such other functions as may from time to time be assigned to it by the governor, through the County executive committee member for trade

Requirements for appointment.
Be a Kenyan citizen

A resident of respective sub-county
At least a diploma certificate in Social work, Entrepreneurship, Business management or related fields
Meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the constitution of Kenya
