The job holder will be based in any of the following regions; Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret.
Reporting responsibility: General Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospecting on potential business opportunities in the assigned region;
Selling the company services (across the portfolio i.e. Customs clearing, Freight Forwarding, oil documentation, warehousing and Transport);
Timely development of winning quotation;
Timely response to commercial enquiries;
Key Result Areas
Achievement of set revenue targets;
Customer relationship management;
Yield (profit) maximization;
Skills, knowledge and experience requirement:
Minimum Diploma in a business-related subject;
At least 3 years’ working experience in FMCG sales – logistics sales will be an added advantage;
Ability to prospect and reach out to decision makers of the potential clients;
Ability to procure best value packages, quotation development and monitor order execution;
Self-motivated, go getter, high impact and results oriented individual;
Specific Capabilities include;
Excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills;
Ability to work under pressure for long and odd hours;
A self-motivated team player;
Self-starter and ability to work under minimum supervision.
