Job Purpose:
The holder of this position will be responsible for keeping relations with clients assigned, provide processes efficiency & profitability of the Business Unit and on boarding new accounts in Freight Forwarding & Contract Logistics
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure timely & accurate billing
Ensure healthy cash flows and debt collection
Reduce credit notes issued against billed invoices.
Drive Customer Satisfaction Levels
Achieve Green rating on the shop network KPIs.
Lead business growth
Manage adherence to client’s service level agreement
Prepare accurate and reliable reports & records
Create safety awareness within the site
Full implementation of security procedures in place Lead compliance with the existing SOPs
Understanding and respect to safety procedures
Lead successful implementation of 5s
Ensure timely submission of quality and accurate report
Minimum Requirements, Skills, Experience and Attributes
Bachelors in Freight Forwarding & Supply Chain Management or Diploma in Freight Forwarding & Supply
Chain Management with compensating work experience
8-10 years’ experience as a logistics professional
Able to work under minimum supervision
The ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
Good sales and negotiation skills
An interest in financial products and markets
Good arithmetic and computer skills.
Plenty of drive, initiative and motivation.
Demonstrated ability to influence and work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to write routine reports, letters and documents
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and team skills
