Commercial Manager – Print Media

Outrival HR Solutions & Consultancies Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager on behalf of our client in the print media industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy, managing client relationships, and leading the commercial team to achieve business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop the commercial strategy and direction of projects.
Lead and manage sales, marketing, and business development teams.
Pursue new business opportunities.
Bid on new projects and negotiate contract terms with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Recruit and oversee contractors and vendors, and conduct market research.
Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for new contracts.
Oversee the performance of the commercial team and provide adequate business strategies.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance in alignment with commercial objectives.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Monitor local and federal regulations and track project progress.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Identify and manage commercial risks.
Analyze data and create reports to identify areas of business growth.
Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in commercial operations.
Provide leadership and guidance to the commercial team to foster a high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in commercial management, preferably in the print media industry.
10 – 15 years of experience in the print media industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to make sound business decisions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet targets in a competitive market environment.
