Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for all sales and commercial activities within Africa
Managing the four Technical Consultants, together with the Senior Technical Consultant
Managing the Customer Experience Manager, who is responsible for Customer Service (2 FTE) and Technical Assistants (15 FTE)
Controlling the sales processes, together with the Customer Experience Manager and the Customer Service team
Ensuring the processes around the services provided are executed optimally, including the data platform Blue Box
Developing a strong relationship with the European sales team, especially to ensure smooth execution of theirsServices to European retailers and flower importers
Delivering senior input to the Africa Management Team, and ensure good and positive cooperation with the other members (next to GM, the Finance Manager, Business Controller, Supply Chain Manager and Production Manager)
Supporting the General Manager in the development of propositions and partnerships within new product line Services
Duties & Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
More than 10 years of proven hands-on experience in a similar commercial
Experience in the Horticulture and/or Floriculture sector
Foremost a networker, being able to quickly build strong relations and partnerships with customers
Strong leader looking to build and maintain an effective commercial and technical team
A 100% can-do mentality is required, understanding the fast-paced environment of sales
Open to develop new propositions and a willingness to execute ideas
Curious and open-minded, looking to explore and understand the industry
Results oriented
